Here at the Baiting House we love our four-legged friends. Our owners Kate and Andrew have several. Well-behaved dogs are always welcome in the bar and in at least one of our dining areas. Our Lodges and Studio Lodges are also pet-friendly.

We offer overnight canine guests a comfortable dog bed, water bowl and biscuits. Poo bags and bins are also available on the patio, as well as plenty of green space to go for a walk. We charge £15 per dog per stay as an additional cleaning fee for overnight dog guests.

In our experience it’s rare to find luxury accommodation that accepts dogs, but we believe the two needn’t be mutually exclusive! For your pet’s safety and the consideration of other guests, we do ask that dogs and their owners follow a few simple rules while they are staying:

Dogs must always be properly controlled and supervised. None of our accommodation is escape-proof for dogs.
Dogs must not be left unattended in your accommodation.
Dogs are not permitted on beds or on any furniture. Please use the dog basket provided when you book!
Guests are asked to clean up after dogs, both inside and outside of the property, or extra cleaning costs may be charged. Special bins are available for the disposal of dog waste.
