Our Story

The Baiting House is an award-winning country pub with rooms which is listed in the Michelin Guide. We’re family owned and it all started when a local couple, Kate and Andrew, decided to buy their local pub (The Baiting House) when it has falled into disrepair and closed down. Sever years later it is often cited as an example of how to re-invent the modern country pub.

Kate and Andrew have subsequently taken on 3 more pubs with similar success.
