Kitchen Team Leader

We’re looking for a kitchen team leader at The Rodney

The role involves:

The Role

  • Taking responsibility for all food safety issues in the kitchen

  • Working with management to devise seasonal menus

  • Leading the kitchen team from the front, running service

  • Ordering and stock management

  • Costing and responsibility for achieving target margins

  • Training and mentoring junior mambers of the team

You will need:

  • Minimum 4 years chef experience

  • Ability to runb a busy service and supervise others

  • Experience in costing / achieving target margins

  • A friendly and approachable manner

  • Ability to work without close supervision

  • Understandable level of English spoken and written

  • Enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge

  • Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes

  • Team player qualities

  • High level of attention to detail
